Corten Steel Coil is a type of weather-resistant steel coil that contains copper, chromium, and nickel to enhance its corrosion resistance. Unlike ordinary steel, Corten steel forms a stable rust-like appearance (patina) on its surface when exposed to weather. This rust layer acts as a protective barrier that prevents deeper corrosion, making it ideal for outdoor and structural applications.
